Iraq's first democratic election: 205 political parties registered so far
 

BAGHDAD, Nov 22 (Reuters) - At least 205 political parties
have registered so far for Iraq's first democratic election in
decades, which is scheduled for Jan. 30.
Below is a list of the major political parties registered
for the election and their leaders. Most already have a role on
the provisional National Council established in September.
