sorry guys, but i was just kidding. only trying to start conversation on what appears to be a slow night for gfy.

pornJester 11-22-2004 05:25 AM

Some chicks are gold diggers and some aren't, I think it's that simple.

Of course though I think having money and being successful is a turn on to girls, but not something to make them fall in love with you.

Ross 11-22-2004 05:26 AM

It only matters if she knows you're rich. I guess if you pick her up for a date in a Porsche she's gonna figure you got money.

But if you find the right girl, money or no money, she should still love you and want to be with you.

blazin 11-22-2004 05:28 AM

Paul Markham 11-22-2004 05:46 AM

Nothing, she is interested in you not your money.

If she's interested in your money then the question is how much do you factor, in how much of you she will put up with to get it.

Bob Saget 11-22-2004 05:47 AM

she wants my moneeeeey

BRISK 11-22-2004 05:59 AM

Its real simple, if you hook up with a gold digger, then money is everything and you're in disneyland if you think otherwise.

If you can find ways to keep your money low key and even play it like you're just another middle class guy, making a decent living, you can hook up with girls and stand a good chance of finding one that won't care.

WiredGuy 11-22-2004 07:33 AM

If you don't want money to be an issue, just don't drop hints as to how much you're making (ie: don't bring the porshe on the first date). It definitely is a factor for most women though from my experience but I rarely even bring up what I make when it comes to relationships or women. For the most-part I do actually find it rude to ask if I barely know a girl or if she's going to base her involvements based on my answer.

Odie 11-22-2004 07:43 AM

I just started dating a new guy and had no idea how much he made and I didn't care. One month later he flies me down to Cancun and we stay at the Ritz carlton and I realize throughout the trip that he's got $$ but I don't care.

So, it matters if that's all she's looking for and you tell her right away. Get to know her first.

Rule #1: Never tell them how much you make.:thumbsup

Diabolical Cord 11-22-2004 07:53 AM

Wait. If I don't tell them how much I make, how am I supposed to get laid then?

Spunky 11-22-2004 07:57 AM

I always tell them I'm broke .Usually they say they don't care but they don't call after the first date:1orglaugh

I totally agree. It doesn't take long for outsiders to notice whether a girl is dating a guy for his money or because she has feelings for him. I like to see the guy that's earning 5 or 6 figures easily, living comfortable but not in debt because he has to "show" off all his toys that his precious porn empire has brought him. Although, I was very much in love with someone starting out in this business four years ago, and I was the original meal ticket, I got the raw end and when the money started rolling in I was no longer needed. Some of us commit for love, other shallow unhappy pretentious people that know nothing better than "me me me" concentrate on money or what they can get from the guy.
Quiet, I've watched your posts through the years, and I can't believe you're anything but a sincere, generous, honest guy that has a lot to offer the right girl. I wish you all the luck. Hint: Be yourself and don't change for anyone. If they don't like you for the amount of revenue you bring in, or you have a blemish on your face, kick her to the damn curb, life is too short. You'll know when someone genuinely cares about you and being with you rather than what they can monetarily obtain from you. Those girls die lonely and never really have a happy relationship in their lives which leads to sicknesses like alcoholism and substance abuse and worse sometimes. You deserve better. Hang in there! You're learning! xoxo, Candice :thumbsup

Rob 11-22-2004 08:10 AM

Money isn't a direct factor but indirectly affects most of the factors that a woman looks for in a man.

Money = Confidence
Money = Nice Clothing
Money = Nice Car
Money = Nice house/condo
Money = Luxery Items (boats etc..)
Money = Being able to take her to nice restaurants
Money = Letting her shop

No Money = None of the above except maybe confidence. But you can't keep a woman off of confidence alone. :2 cents:

Platinumpimp 11-22-2004 08:12 AM

play up the idea that you're really on the edge, a legislative change could wipe you out - lawsuit, etc. the money isn't perminant at all in any way shape form or fashion

Goatse 11-22-2004 01:35 PM

The older she gets, the more she cares about money. At 18, good looks will win over money 95% of the time. At 27, it's closer to 50-50. For a 35 year old, the rich man triumphs easily over the pretty boy.

Nicky 11-22-2004 01:37 PM

It all depends on what type of girl your with.....but yea usually the coin does have some effect

Wow, Sleazy and I agree. I use this. It is impossible to keep the money low key. I travel 7 days a month on average. I know she can't keep up but it is nice if she says thanks once in a while.

mindoza 11-22-2004 01:44 PM

For me ,I can not speak for anyone else, money can make life easier but it is not a subsitute for Love and it can not keep you warm at night.

I want someone in my life who cherishes me and loves me weather he is a prince or a pauper makes no difference.

Sly 11-22-2004 01:45 PM

quiet, honey, I already told you it isn't about the money. Now take me shopping!

seeric 11-22-2004 01:46 PM

Since I'm over 35 (well over....) I can tell you that IME, that's completely wrong. Everyone I know my age couldn't care less about the money a guy has. They've done the good looking brainless, the rich assholes and the losers. They want someone to share with, not someone to support them and most already have their own money. :thumbsup

as i get older i'm definetly not getting better looking but my gf's are.. and i'm not even rich.

i've noticed alot of girls have a sense of entitlement about it.. "i put so much effort into my appearance etc that i deserve a successful guy"

perhaps because a lot of girls don't have shit going for themselves except their looks that could ever give them financial security?

now i don't think for a second all girls are like this, i'm pretty lucky right now and hopefully you are too. i do think the entitlement thing is an interesting angle that i'd never really thought about before (rather than just straight gold diggers).. i'll stop thinking out loud now though :)

ricks 11-22-2004 01:57 PM

i always tell girls that i'm unemployed, but i never carry less than $10k with me and am always driving a luxury suv or something and then on a first date i will casually drive by my million dollar estate at some point in the night and say 'i gotta grab my phone, wait in the car' or some other lame excuse

this ploy has got me laid countless times, women love mystery and potential danger, never admit to what you do or ever refer to yourself as having money, they will figure it out

NEVER ADMIT TO BEING A COMPUTER NERD IT IS NOT COOL
