Speaking of Afghan women... Apparently they still have female circumcision in Afghanstan. That is real fucked up.

For those unfamiliar with this 3rd world practice, it's not the same as when it happens in the modern world... basically over there, they cut a big chunk of the cunt off with a sharp knife or scissors, and sow up what is left with cotton... and no, they don't use anesthetic.

Want some facts? I cut and pasted these
- Razor blades, scissors, kitchen knives and even pieces of glass are used, often on more than one girl, which increases the infection.
- So drastic is the mutilation that young brides have to be cut open to allow penetration on their wedding night and are customarily sewn up afterwards.
- Anaesthesia is rarely used and, depending on local tradition, the operation is conducted on girls as young as three.

Hopefully Afghani Women will get their rights back soon. These clerics can't hold power for long with the way they are acting. Already the Taliban in Pakistan and waiting for them to fall to rush in and take over.

Female circumcision is common in a number of African countries as well. A great deal of the international women's groups have been raising this for a number of years.
