The new BMW models are gay as fuck, gotta love the Mercedes lines though

As for performance i guess they each have pretty much their counterpart.

if you gonna go with the top of the line shit, bmw 745 is where
it's at. if you got the dough, get the 760 and you be pimpin.

if you're looking at 3 or 5 series, you're best off getting a
benz cause like the other dude said, the new BMW designs
for 3 and 5's are gay as all hell.

Both are wonderful automobiles, but Mercedes just has BMW outclassed, slightly.

The Ultimate Driving Machine for sure. It is not just a cheesy tagline.

How many Benzes even come in a manual?

i've owned a 2004 sl 500, and a 2001 bmw 3 series that i supercharged, and granted they are two totally different classes, my fav car was the beamer

I'd never buy a benz, simply because all (well, 80%) of the cabs in Helsinki is an E-class benz. I'd alwas feel like going into a taxi. lol. :)

benz can be had for 20k.. So that kinda blows the exclusivity of the brand.. Plus they old people cars..

Benz - more classy, a little better quality
Bimmer - more of a driver's car

either / or, ive got both and theyre both wonderful drives. you feel like a different person in each vehicle.

BMW is more reliable, Benz is too easy to steal, even a kid can open it. At least that was what I read in one test. :)

and i have owned both 7 series beemers, and S class.

after you are in the S class, you will never drive anything else as long as you have a driver's license.

I own a Mercedes, I was seriously considering buying a 330ci at the same time I bought my Benz, I didn't because of the new design trend of BMW. And resale value on a Mercedes is always higher.

Looks like a very classy Toyota Camry.

6 series..........so BMW for me, or a nice classic Mercedes

BMW used to be for yuppies but they have moved on and now its the car for wannabe yuppies lol. The only import as shitty as a domestic.

I love Beemers and Mercs, but it depends on your personal taste I guess. I test drove the ML500 when I test drove my X5 and the X5 completely destroyed the ML500.

However a S55 AMG against a M5 would be a tough one to choose :Graucho

There is a B7 planned which is the closest thing to an M7, which could be compared to the S55.

I think both companies have great cars..

I have the new 530i and I love it, it's not big ass like the new 7 series. Great looking car and does the job. Chicks love it too.

But at the same time I love the merc SL 55 and the new SLKs. So it really depends on which car you want. I haven?t checked out the new BMW Z4s and Z8 but I here there great.
