golf clubs

I like to hear what you think is the best clubs. I am think, about buying some new ones. I have been look at Ben Hogan Apex FTX.

But is there any one there are play with Nike SLINGSHOT, or Cleveland Ta2..

Best bet is to go to a driving range or large golf warehouse that lets you try them out 1st. Certain clubs work better for certain people. I would never just buy a set based on the name. :2 cents:

:thumbsup get a feel for them and get measured properly for the correct length. I was fucking my back up with a normal set and had to have them extended.

Yup. I don't know why people spend tons of money and buy sets straight off of the rack.

Definately get them custom made.

Golf clubs are all about feel - Doesn't matter what the best are, it's what you feel comfortable with.
Go to a good pro shop and get every club he has out and hit a few balls with each club - That will help you choose a set best for you
BTW - I use taylor made firesoles (rifle) 4 - si
Mizuno zoid woods 1-3 and 3 different cleveland wedges.

...And am lucky if I can fit in 5 rounds a year at present!

My Ping Eyes2 kick serious ass

Pings were my choice as well, went through a ton of them at the golf centres and driving ranges, until I tried them and haven't looked back, stunning clubs.

What is your handicap?

In truth, if it is not single digit, the clubs don't matter.

Put your money in lessons.

Good call. I hear so many people worrying abuot what ball and clubs they are playing but each time I play with them, the truth is that none of that helps their game. :2 cents:
