So I am looking for a flight to Japan, and sometimes you get some real wacky combinations, but this is by far the craziest one I've ever come across. Check this out, to Japan from Honolulu it's pretty much straight through, which is good. But on the return flight, it's Tokyo to London, London to Los Angeles, and Los Angeles to Honolulu. Total duration, 51 hours and 45 minutes. Not only that, it's $6000, when a flight with 0 stops is around $850.
