I think the real reason is the lack of flouride in the drinking water.

i don't know about that flouride in the water. i don't drink tap water and my teeth are fine. just brush twice a day. in fact i hadn't been to the dentist in three years, up untila month ago. and he said i've got some of the healthiest teeth he's seen.

I don't know if anyone in finland for example has so bright white teeth that it hurts my eyes to look at them, and every american on tv seems to have the fake smile on.

I'm not saying yellow crooked teeth are something to be proud of, but I wouldn't want pearly white fake teeth in my mouth and fake tits on my girl, topped with some facial plastic surgery and liposuction. No. I prefere natural (white, healthy) look over those pure white teeth.
