what were they thinking when they took on the Scot Peterson case for free?

Did they really believe he was inncocent?

Or did they think they can get him off the charges?

I don't get it, taking on a high profile case as a lawyer must be good pr if you win, but loosing it must suck bigtime

no such thing as bad publicity.

Where did you get the idea it was being done for free? As far as I understand it, Peterson's parents have some money and are paying Garagos. Unlikely they can afford an appeal and thus we probably won't see Garagos again.

kinda backfired tho, i mean.. no real hard evidence linking him, motive maybe (i wasnt really glued to the case, just talkin out of my ass) and they still lost

sbott running out of $$$ for his defense. His lawyer called him a 14 carrot ass hole to the jury. This trial really hurt his career:

Here is a trailer park chic that thought her ship came in only to find out he was married. Just like her last boyfriend, talk about motive.I am sure she knows someone that would do her dirty work for her.

probably they know how much they woulld get w/ the exposure it will have on the case. not only moneywise but also clientwise.:)

didn't his lawyer take the challenge on the larry king show?

I thought he said he would represnt Scot for free. Maybe wrong.

even though he butchered the case, people will still hire him, he's a famous lawyer now.
