Why do Americans like college football so much?
 

I have a hard enough time watching the NFL let alone a bunch of zit faced college kids. :2 cents:

what so amazing about sports?

i believe it's for the unintelligent.

I very rarely wach sports of any sort, or tv for that matter.

But people like the college sports because the players play much harder. They are not being payed 6 million dollars, and they want those jobs. The only way to get one is to play hard.

Then once they get the job, they stop trying as hard, because now they have to meet to contract, and you can not do that if you get hurt.

There are a couple reasons but the most popular one is that Collage football, the players are all working their asses off to get the attention of pro scouts so the level of play is very high. Also the players aren't YET corrupt by the money the NFL brings.

well i dont watch or like sports either but for the people that do its to them like this board is for others a source of entertainment

What is NFL?
I seriously do not know.

Gambling. It's much easier to bet on college sports than the pros. There are always a couple of lines that are way off, which is good if you're into middles and that sort of thing.

I've never watched a college came in my life. I love Football though, but just the NFL.

Funny though that a buch of computer geeks don't like sports, big surprise there. (I'm including me in the computer geek statement.) I don't really care too much for sports either. But, I do like football.

i don;t like college football per se, but i love the steelers. msot people tell me they watch college ball becuse it moves faster and the kids got alot of heart, and go balls to the wall every game, unlike alot of the over payed athletes.

I like college sporst better then pros except for baseball.
