I live in Quebec. I found out a russian model that I want to shoot.

The guys who are managing her want me to pay 2000$ upfront for sending her here...

Is this normal ? I will never pay that amount upfront to people that I don't know.

Does anyone have any experience with this ?

Unless you knew these people from before it sounds kind of risky. I've had companies pay to fly me somewhere but in the end it's my responsibility to pay my agent... I dunno.

For russian model bussines this is normal practice. We managing more 200 models and also don`t send model for you if not receive warranty of money (amount upfront) from you. If you tell me who managing this model I can let you know reliable guys or not

yes...in Russia, its very hard to get a visa.
The chansies she will come to you..almost ziro.
I think its a scam.
