Create A Blog Ie Toolbar
** CREATE A BLOG TOOLBAR **
Would you like to create a custom RSS Aggregator/Search toolbar for your blog which you can offer to your users? Have you ever wanted to create a Google Toolbar type tool especially for your blog? Now you can with Effective Brand: http://www.effectivebrand.com Effective Brand has a complete web-based toolbar generator. Moreover, they host the toolbar for you on their website with a custom page dedicated to it. The initial toolbar generator is a 4-step procedure where user gets to pick up a logo, a search string, custom buttons, and basic toolbar details. And the system generates the toolbar and the custom page. Another nice feature of this toolbar maker is an optional RSS aggregator. You can specify the RSS feed link and update interval. And that feed is updated on the toolbar with links to the latest posts! The Blog Search Engine created its toolbar using Effective Brand and we are very happy with it - it's very cool. Check out Effective Brand to build your blog's own branded toolbar: http://www.effectivebrand.com |
Here's an example of how I've been promoting it on my own websites:
http://www.iluvboobs.com Text ads seem to work best to promote it. I'm running anti-spy software and anti-virus and no red flags in over 3 weeks now. What's best is that I've had 74 people download and install my toolbar and I can see that bookmarked hits have increase dramatically. You can even send an RSS message from the control panel and it shows up very quickly for your viewers. |
absolutely a cool idea.. can see how many can benefit from this :thumbsup

i just don't trust free stuff...

Seems they anonymously record informations, have their own SE technology, also promo buttons on the toolbar and make their money with it, at least it looks like that if you read their company page.
I don't trust free stuff from non open source sources too. There's always a catch. :2 cents: |

You could also be a bot set to hit threads with toolbar in the title. :1orglaugh |
