$35 per signup programs are DOOMED!!!!
Windows service pack 2 comes with a popup blocker so these programs who base their payout on converting from exit sponsors are going to have to shave you harder to make up for all the blocked popups which means their links will eventually get dropped.
But, good. I've always felt that these type of programs were shitty anyway. I hate sending traffic to a sponsor that fucks the surfer up so bad that they don't want to click my other ads. I think that when I send FREE traffic to a sponsor they should accept that as enough and not popup a bunch of stuff that I cannot profit from. It's a sleezy way of doing biz so the death of this shit is welcomed by me. :2 cents: |
There is already a way around this...

They already getting enough shit for free so why pay some asshole site more money? |
no program is doomed, they'll just adjust the # of sales they credit to their affiliates.

Must be one of the factors affecting my ARS sales for November. 1:300 steady since june, then all of the sudden, 1:1,500 for the whole month of November. And I thought they were supposed to be stand up guys...

When you see the numbers in detail it's almost to impossible for a paysite owner to payout $35/trial; for every trial independent traffic quality. Even $25/trial is huge achievement. I can see some getting away from these limits due to their billing practises, but these are very few exceptions. There are PPS owners doing honest attempts to maximize the earnings per trial so you'll get closer earnings to what they claim to pay, but the majority don't care. Did you ever wonder how a PPS sponsor can payout you $35-40/trial in a reality paysite he has to do a single update for 75 days? hah The rules of the game are different. In the past webmasters were told to have a look at the members area of the revshares they promote. They'll better do the same with PPS programs. |

Keep in mind the blocker is on by default. I think the key will be to use pop ups in moderation and they will still be profitable to a program. Of course many are abusing the fuck out of the work arounds already. |
i doubt it , see sig :winkwink:

Well then try AAC, $40 a sale and I think they even have a popup. Programs DONT need them to pay per sale.
