Yes, but you have to understand one thing.
500 000 people downloaded the game because it was free.
That put a hell of strain on the 40 game servers they have.
Apparently the bandwidth being spit out was in the 1-3 Gigabit range (1000 to 3000 Mbits/sec) Thats a hell of a load for 40 servers.
The 23rd... they will have 80 servers. And you can be your ass
not half of the 500 000 players will actually go out and shell out the 60$ +15$/month for it.
The lag will be non-exhistent come the 23rd

Long time EQ1 player ( since the beginning ) here and Just got EQ2 and I am diggin it.
However WOW I been watching closely I dunno if I should put it off over EQ2 damnit damnit...
Decisions.
The only way to get anywhere in the games is over a long duration and I aint gonna play both.

The best was being a female Night Elf and jumping up on the table in the base of the first tree and stripping off all my clothes, then /dance. hahahha People would stop and clap and say hi and everything. It was awesome!
I'd have to play it an awful lot to be worth $70 PLUS $15US a month, though.
I had to make three characters, because their servers were always busy.

I have been playing that game since second round closed beta. i was Bacchus on the PVP server. I got up to a lvl 52 undead preist.
I could rock the fucking game with my shadowline, but to be honest I just got bored playing. Its very very fun though, no doubt. Just too much of a time sink.
Oh all I like to do is PVP. The PVP system in that game isn;t the greatest.Comment
