I have a problem with UNREAL 2!
 

Hi,

I just got the Alpha Testing Version of Unreal 2 and it doesnt wanna work. It opens the screenshot of the two guys standing and thats it, it wont work. My computer is new so WTF?

Its not a demo or anything like that cause its 1.2 GIGS.

Please help,

I am willing to bet that due to the fact that it is an "ALPHA" it will have more bugs in it than you can shake a stick at...I mean now a days you can buy a game that is on the shelf and still run into a shitload of headaches, and that is because the software cannot take into account all the different types of machines that are out there, what programs are running on them that may interfer..etc... although your computer may be fast enough to run the game does not mean the game is able to run on your computer...Just an FYI http://bbs.gofuckyourself.net/board/smile.gif

I once saw a commedian making jokes of Texas language. stuff like "more then you can shake a stick at" and more of those things but I remember that one well because it was so funny.

Alright, people, listen up.

Here are the FACTS about the past few days.

1. The build that we took to show at E3 has been leaked somehow. It is not a "beta". It is not an "alpha". It is not a "pre-alpha". It is a highly specialized build designed to show off specific things--NOT a build for people to randomly take screenshots and post them all over the web.

2. This was not done intentionally. We would not release something half-finished, and give people the opportunities to do what has been done over the last few days.

3. The crackdown begins NOW. From this moment forward, anyone who posts screenshots, links to download sites, or anything else details-related about this build will be immediately banned.

4. Any help you guys could provide us would be very much appreciated. If you downloaded the files from this site or that site, give me the site URL.

This is NOT a case of "Well, it's a publicly released demo, I have the right to download and play it." No, you do not. I've heard this situation compared to Napster. "They're both kinda piracy, what's the difference?"

Well, for one thing, Napster never went from record studio to record studio and stole recordings from musicians that were not even half-finished.

That is all, gentlemen. Don't expect me to be Mr. Nice Grant about this. If you make my job harder than it is right now, there's going to be trouble.

Interesting....how is it that you even have a copy there bud as they have there own internal testing team..and no public beta has been released???

what kind of video card u trying to run it with?

I have a AMD 900 with 256 RAM and a Radeon 64MB DDR.

Btw this version is all over the place. FTPS galore...
