Finished the game up this morning and it was amazing. Not only awesome graphics but the storyline kept me engrossed the whole time unlike doom 3 lol. If you like FPS this is a must buy.

are the graphics the best you ever seen on a pc?

I'm about 45 minutes into it...still only have my crowbar.

How long from start to finish?

I am running it on my older box and it looks amazing. I'm sure it'll look even better on a box made to play the game.

Getting this one for sure. I don't play many video games these days with the baby and all - but this one is a must.

Hmm on the normal setting it took me about maybe 11-12 hours. Sounds crazy I played it in one day pretty much but to me its like a book and I have to finish it or I won't get much done. The graphics really were the best I have seen, only reason I would say better then doom3 is because of the atmosphere that was created in half life. I really can't wait for some of the multiplayer mods to come out for this.

After spending the whole day yesterday trying to get it to work,
I spent the rest of the day today playing it.

Amazing graphics, attention to detail is out of this world.

I just hope that it takes me more than a week to pass it,
otherwise it will not even come close to matching the first
one.

AWESOME game. If you don't have it yet, get it!

I put the settings to Hard the first time around simply because I don't want to beat it in a day, I recommend doing the same if you played the first one :)

Yeah if you don't want to beat it easily put it on hard. I had it on normal and had no problem at all getting through it. There were a couple parts that took me a few times to pass but nothing that really got me.

well, i don't have whole heck of a lot of health so I am sure that isn't helping but it is where there is a bunch of wather and they throw exploding drums down a vent above.

ahh, sounds like maybe it is right before the valve with the water. You are shooting the barrels to make everything explode and dodge/hide from the flying barrels? Then kill the remaining things that fly at you. Should get you farther if that is where you are at.

Is there a new Team fortress with it?

I was so anxious to get this game forever and now I have it and I'm too busy getting our cash program into beta to play. It's killin me!!!!!

I'm sure it'll look great though. I've got a beefy as heck system to play it on. I'm glad you guys said to put it on hard to play cuz I usually wuss out and go for a medium difficuly but I don't want this to go by so fast so I'm gonna be a man and play it up. =]

Is there supposed to be a new Counter Strike to go with it?
