D'OH!!! Racist Cartoon About Condoleeza Rice Hits The Papers???

http://www.rushlimbaugh.com/home/dai...tra.guest.html

Yo!!! I could not believe they ran this cartoon about Condoleeza Rice. There's some low shit, but this is lower than a snake's belly in a wagon rut.

Jeff Danziger drew this shit. I'm wondering when he's gonna get fired. It's so bad that real black people called up the Rush Limbaugh show to complain!

hottoddy 11-17-2004 11:53 AM

And without him, the mainstream media probably would have never picked up on it. God forbid, if a liberal was depicted this way the fit would hit the shan...

webmaster x 11-17-2004 12:02 PM

that cartoon is so low,.

BVF 11-17-2004 12:09 PM

He's fucked. There is NO WAY IN HELL he'll get away with messing with Condi...Next to Bush's wife and his daughters, Condi comes next in line.

Rich 11-17-2004 12:20 PM

How is that racist? I see it as pointing out her complete and total failure as a national security adviser.

Oh, and her willingness to lie and change her story about important security/intelligence issues. She's a incompetent liar who has no business anywhere in government. The fact that she's a black women has nothing to do with it.

i think the dialogue is VERY racist and stereotypical of blax. The cartoon plain sucks, and the fact that Limbaugh is even bothering to give it publicity, may it be newsworthy or not, is revolting. Fuck that fat pill poppin' bastard :2 cents:

Meta Ridley 11-17-2004 12:32 PM

I dont get how it's racist

Explain pls

lol, it's not making fun of blacks at all. Am I the only one who gets this cartoon?

It's amazing how overly sensitive these fucking right wing biggots become when something is making fun of one of them. "Gay people should burn in hell", "black votes shouldn't be counted", "wait, did he call Condi stupid? RACIST!"

lmfao

Yes a barefoot black woman in a rocking chair talking in ebonics isn't racist. Rich, you've been slipping lately.

They're saying it's racist because the dialogue is slang and not proper English. I think it's just trying to get the point across of how stupid this women really is. She is, she's a fucking nut, she may have worked at Harvard or whatever but she's a pathologically religious neo-conservative ideologue nutcase and she should not be in charge of a nation's diplomacy, let alone national security. Sadly she's one of the very powerful people in the party like Kissinger or James Baker, so she's not going anywhere until the people absolutely demand it.

Seriously am I the only one who can remember the 9/11 hearings? This woman should be fired, not promoted. She was national security adviser during the worst attack on US soil, ignored the warnings, lied about ignoring those warnings, and then laughed about it. Now she's secretary of state? I feel like I'm taking crazy pills here.

Maybe I just don't understand what's racist about bare feet or being on a rocking chair. Keep in mind I live in Canada so I haven't seen a huge amount of racism towards blacks anywhere but TV. I'm asking for people to explain it, the barefoot thing would maybe seem almost sexist to me but that's seriously, seriously reaching.

Dead13 11-17-2004 02:05 PM

Rush of all people should not be playing the "racism" card.

Rush is the biggest admitted racist in the media, he has made a career out of hating all non-white, non-christian, non-conservative people.

Now he wants us to cry for poor ole Condoleeza? Maybe the prescription drugs are getting to his head. :1orglaugh

Face it Rich, she has accomplished 100x more than your half-ass pill pushing liberal ass ever will. You will always be relegated to being known as the chief Georg Bush administration basher on an adult message board. Congrats.

BradM 11-17-2004 02:10 PM

But racist? I am missing something I guess.

I've asked people to explain to me how it's racist, "Rush Limbaugh says so" doesn't count. What's racist about being barefoot in a rocking chair? Like I said I live in Canada, I'm not exposed to racists idiots like, uh, Rush Limbaugh all day.

The focus of this cartoon is the certainly aluminum tubes.

Haha. Its a pretty racist cartoon. Its grouping ebonics with lack of knowledge, with a poor southern looking feel. Pretty funny I think.

Pulling the race card is lame. But Rich, good God, you are the most bias sack of shit I have ever seen.

i am from the south, there are TONS of white people that talk that way, does that mean they are black?

Sly 11-17-2004 04:01 PM

Someone should reprint the cartoon using another black woman of high stature. Maybe Oprah.

I would love to see the reactions then. Ahaha.

Jace 11-17-2004 04:02 PM

"i knows all about" is southern dialect, not ebonics

She is from Birmingham, Alabama. That is in the south last time I checked.

Bama 11-17-2004 04:14 PM

I think that cartoon is a spinoff on a line from Gone With The Wind..

I'z don't know nothen' bout birthin no babies Mis' Scarlett....

That said, hell, even I don't get the joke.

Rich 11-17-2004 04:32 PM

Of course I'm biased against these neo-conservatives, if you're not you're either completely ignorant as to who they are, or, you're an radical imperialist. Pretty simple. It's not really my fault I understand the neo-conservative policy and most don't.

I don't think people should insult Rice for being black, I think they should insult her for being completely incompetent. The cartoon is not overly funny but I enjoy the message I took from it.

That's what I thought, and I'm still confused about how the bare feet and rocking chair are racist.

Rich 11-17-2004 04:39 PM

The joke is, she origially made a federal case out of some alluminum tubes Hussien bought, saying they were definetly for making nuclear weapons and could serve no other purpose. US experts said that they couldn't possibly be used for nuclear weapons, and that they were most certainly for normal rockets. Now she says she doesn't know what they could be used for and that no one told her they couldn't be used for nukes. If you guys would actually pay attention and hold information in your brains for longer than a couple months, these things would make more sense to you.

Rich 11-17-2004 04:39 PM

I think the language was used because they're saying she's playing dumb.

Rich 11-17-2004 04:40 PM

Maybe this will help some of you get caught up.

Quote:

Today, Condoleezza Rice asserted she was not aware of the serious questions over the purpose of the aluminum tubes at the time that she publicly stated that they were indisputable evidence that Iraq was trying to reconstitute its nuclear program._ However, recent news reports show that almost a year before she made those statements, her staff had been told that the country?s leading nuclear weapons experts at the Department of Energy believed these tubes were for likely for artillery rockets._ Furthermore, as recently as last week, Rice claimed that there was still legitimate dispute about what the tubes were for, directly contradicting the Duelfer Report and the current consensus in the intelligence community that the tubes were not intended for nuclear purposes._

Rice Now Claims She Did Not Know Of the Energy Department?s Objections at the Time she said the Aluminum Tubes were for Nuclear Purposes._ Today, Dr. Rice claimed ?We did not learn the nature of that dispute until the N.I.E. was being produced almost a month later.? [FOX News Sunday, 10/10/04]

FACT: Rice Knew That Government Experts Disagreed With Assessment Of The Aluminum Tubes. Before her making her statement that the aluminum tubes were only intended for nuclear programs, Condoleezza Rice was aware that the government?s foremost nuclear experts had concluded that the tubes were most likely not for nuclear weapons at all? In fact, almost a year before, her staff had been told that these experts, at the Energy Department, ?seriously doubted that the tubes were for nuclear weapons? according to four officials at the Central Intelligence Agency and two senior administration officials. [New York Times, 10/2/04

Before The War, Rice Said That Aluminum Tubes Were Only Suited For Nuclear Programs._ In the lead-up to the war in Iraq, Condoleezza Rice said on CNN that the aluminum tubes were ?only really suited for nuclear weapons programs.? [CNN, 9/8/02]

FACT: Almost One Year Earlier, Energy Department Believed The Tubes Were Intended For Rockets. According to officials at the CIA and senior administration officials, experts at the Energy Department ?believed the tubes were likely intended for small artillery rockets.? [New York Times, 10/2/04]

Rice Says The Intelligence Community Is Still Debating Purpose Of The Tubes. Rice said last week, ?As I understand it, people are still debating [if the aluminum tubes were intended for nuclear purposes.? [ABC, ?This Week, 10/3/04]

FACT: Duelfer Report Said That Aluminum Tubes Were Intended For Rocket Programs.

Levin: Now relative to the aluminum tubes, your report says on page 21 that Baghdad?s interest in high strength, high specification aluminum tubes is best explained by its efforts to produce 81 mm rockets. Is that correct?

Duelfer: That is correct. That is my judgment that those -- those tubes were most likely destined for a rocket program. [Senate Armed Services Committee, 10/6/04]
You guys could really avoid looking so stupid if you just disregard everything Rush Limbaugh has ever said. He's not the laughing stock of planet earth for nothing folks.

webmaster x 11-17-2004 04:43 PM

that cartoon was so low.

Monique Niccole 11-17-2004 04:50 PM

The cartoon depicts Condi as an ignorant Mammy figure. I dislike the current Republican administration as much as anyone and I probably wouldn't piss on Condi if she was on fire, but if you can't see how this cartoon is racist and race-based, then you care just stupid.

Imagine if this was a cartoon that depicted Attorney General Gonzalez as a Mexican lawn care worker who spoke in broken English mixed with Spanish. While the cartoon might show him as ignorant, it would still be racist.

Stupid cartoon by a stupid Person simple as that...

Rich 11-17-2004 05:03 PM

The aluminum tubes were her baby on the campaign trail, that was her big talking point. Hence she's feeding the aluminum tubes with a bottle, it has nothing to do with being a "mammy" figure. I don't see where you get anything close to a mexican lawn care stereotype.
