Businessman sues singer Jackson
 

A businessman is suing Michael Jackson for $3m (£1.6m), alleging he is owed for unpaid loans and producing fees.
Marc Schaffel says he was a key figure in producing two TV specials in which the star hit back at a controversial British documentary.

He also alleges he is owed money for Mr Jackson's "spending sprees" in which he bought jewellery for Elizabeth Taylor.

Mr Jackson is currently facing charges of child abuse and the trial is due to start on 31 January 2005.

Mr Schaffel's case, filed in Los Angeles, alleges Mr Jackson owed money for a cash advance to "pay Marlon Brando to appear at Jackson's concert" and other expenses.

Mr Schaffel worked with Mr Jackson on two Fox television specials which were broadcast as a defence to a programme in which the singer was interviewed by ITV journalist Martin Bashir at the singer's Neverland ranch.

Charity single

In Mr Jackson's programme, he said he had been betrayed by Bashir and that the documentary was misleading and unfair.

Mr Jackson has since been charged with child molestation relating to a boy, which he has consistently denied.

Mr Schaffel also worked with Mr Jackson on the charity record What More Can I Do, which was recorded by a number of US stars in aid of victims and survivors of 11 September.

But the recording was held in limbo after it was discovered Mr Schaffel had directed a number of pornographic videos.

Mr Schaffel admitted he had worked in the porn industry but said he had severed ties with it before the charity single project.

No doubt it is true, the whole family screwed the MGM in Vegas last time they had the brothers reunion. Heard they had to basically bring folks into the concert so the seats looked packed.

Jackson is clueless he is not 12 years old and he has always spent more than he has and this is why he needs to sell his ranch.

He is owned, he is out to pastuer and is one ruined man.
