Small personal hand held video camera

Seeing as how everyone here is a content expert, I figured some of you would be able to help me out.

I want to buy a really small personal video camera. I don't know ANYTHING about cameras. The last time anyone I knew bought one it was a sony hi-8 in about 1994.

What would you recommend?

BradM 11-17-2004 12:03 AM

Mind you it needs to be as lightweight as possible, too.

Just go to your local electronic shop and read the shit

Amazing. Never would have thought to go to a store and look in person. Thank god folks like you are here to fill me in on such things.

I ask here because people have experiences or preferences and many times gfy opinions can help.

For a digital all around good camera you cant beat a canon.

Whatever you do, don't go with the DVD or micro-mv cameras.

Stick with Mini-DV.

We have this tiny thing as a backup to our VX-2000.

edit - it's a Sony DCR-HC20 MiniDV HandycamŽ Camcorder
