i would never get cordless just for that reason, i have no problems with the cord.

I have the new laser mouse by logi and it has the rechargable lith-ion batteries.. Never go back now.. ;)

just use rechargable batteries, it is that simple, I always have two batteries next to me that are being charged up

I think if I had a mouse that wasnt attached to my computer by a cable it would be lost forever in the mess of my computer desk.

I almost got a cordless mouse the other day, untill I thought of my remote, my cell phone, and one set f keys that my daughter hid.. she's 1 and a half. I can wait for the cordless :P
