do the major sites out there like the Hun, Jays XXX Links, Herculinks and others have shitty ass layouts? do they not improve them because their SE listings may change? or do they just suck with html and make profit so they don't care?

Keep it simple

no way did herculinks keep it simple, his site is a fucking maze in my opinion.

jay's does well because of the mountains of textual content and his own tricks. Going streamlined and pretty is just foolish when his current methods work fine.


Same for herculinks

i think the hun is so big it make more sense to minimize the layout / images to save on bandwith, rather than looks

This is a very interesting question. Same goes for websites in many other industries. Take e-gold.com, for example. They haven't changed their website since 1996. They're pretty popular and growing every day. For whatever reason - they do not touch their site.

The adult industry as we know today needs a little shake-up. That's what we're here for - see sig ;-)
