$3 cpm is pretty good now days. depends on what the 3k views are looking for though.

Prive per k doesn't mean much, you have to find out where the traffic is coming from. I would suggest you buy a weeks worth of traffic to try it out. Buy 2,000 hits a day and test the waters before you make a big purchase.

For CPM traffic, that's an average payout.

It really depends on what's being viewed though. A banner? A page? A popup? Multiple popups? Activex install prompts?

It also really depends on your traffic. Do you think your traffic is worth more than $3 for 1000 hits?

Personally, if I send crappy traffic to a page with a remote email collection box, I can make more than $3 for 1000 hits.
