CCBill out of whack again?

So i'm 0:8574 with my ccbill sites that i promote for the day... I thought i was just having an incredibly shitty day. But then a buddy of mine messaged me and asked if ccbill was fucked for me as he's 0:12319 for the day.

Is anyone else seeing this behavior with their ccbill stats?

Bansheelinks 11-16-2004 06:10 PM

yep its happening yet again........

for the umpteenth time this past 5 weeks or so

Trixxxia 11-16-2004 06:16 PM

I just read in their News section - they have a maintenance going on in about 6-7 hours - I presume that will fix whatever has caused the reporting to be out of norm in the past few days.

TaDoW 11-16-2004 06:17 PM

swear to god .. it's our best day ever on ccbill (I posted several hours ago to prove it too :Graucho )

this has been an intermittent and ongoing problem for several weeks now, not just the last few days, and its costing everyone money

Important Information Regarding the CCBill Client Affiliate Admin
Posted November 16th, 2004 15:25:18, by CCBill Management
We will be conducting a maintenance on the Client Affiliate System on Wednesday, November 17 at 12 Midnight (Arizona Mountain Time) for approximately two hours. During this maintenance window, transactions will not be affected, and all Client Affiliate Sales and Clicks data will continue to be recorded. However, the Affiliate's Tools and Reports will not be available for use by your Affiliates. We will post notifications to the NEWS areas of both System5 and the Affiliate System when this maintenance has been completed. Please note: This maintenance does not affect the retention of data, and all stats for this time period will be accurately presented once the maintenance has been completed. Thank you. CCBill Management

One of the programs i normally have at 1:600/1:800 is at 1:3000+ now, the rest of the programs are ok.

As a Sponsor or affiliate???

The first time I never had any problems in sales as a sponsor, just it was not giving credit to the affiliates, which they fixed...

However, Today looks normal for me on both sides...

Yesterday, could of been just a bad day for me, but it was ugly as an affiliate...

That should have nothing to do with the maintenance we are doing later tonight, i would contact client support to have them help troubleshoot that?

Stats Remote and ccbill are out of whack again for me but at least ccbill is showing sales/rebills. :Graucho

pussyluver 11-16-2004 09:40 PM

On one of my accounts I show ZERO clicks for 1/1/2004 - 9/30/2004. It did show sales. Is this currently a normal response or should I file a trouble ticket? It's been this way for days.

jpoker 11-16-2004 10:22 PM

Its definitely looking much worse than typical for us today as well. Todays results across my 100 or so ccbill accounts are the worse day all month and look to be about 60% lower than average.
Might just be that surfers don't feel like buying today, i have no idea.

I did contact support.

Even they are showing more signups for me than are being shown in transactions. They told me that it "takes awhile" for the page to update (I'm still waiting for it..been 1/2 hour now and no change).

How long SHOULD it take from signup to being posted in transactions?

Btw..to all affiliates..I was told that yes, stats are messed up and will stay that way awhile even after maintenance is done.

Centurion, that is a different issue than getting a server error, last time i checked, it took up to 15-20 min to update sales stats, and i would not be surprised if i found out it was half an hour, but it is my understanding that the stats normally update sooner than that; I am not sure what you spoke about and decided with client support...

And to dispel anything before it starts, from the release: ?This maintenance does not affect the retention of data, and all stats for this time period will be accurately presented once the maintenance has been completed.?

I just checked with the office and there are currently no plans to deviate from what was posted in the previous paragraph. Once the maintenance is complete, the stats should all be accurate

Now just a sec..

1)Yes, those ARE 2 different issues. There BECAME 2 different issues. The first started with server error messages. The 2nd one came LATER.

2)If you're going to chastize me for what WAS told to me by one of your support people, you had better talk to your support people also. I do NOT make it a habit of mine to make up things and spread them around on gfy. I have always been a staunch supporter of CCBill and I think there needs to be some objective viewing of this on your part also. I *WAS* told by your support person (be glad to give you him name in email if you want) about the "stats" issue & maintenance.
