Designer MIA, anybody got info on this guy???
 

Last week I made a deal with this designer called David from http://www.blueboygalleries.com for a few galls.

He should have delivered them by thrusday/friday but I have not heard from him for 6 days now. I paid him 100% in advance.

I'm not afraid of a scam coz this guy came over very solid to me and Andrej from NDC did good business with him too. I'm more afraid something happened to him.

I've looked up his phone # in his whois but nobody has answered (tried it for 2 days now).

Does anyone know this guy personally/professionally?

I can't use the search feature right now, but I'm pretty sure I remember a thread recently in which he did the same thing to someone else, but it was for longer than 6 days, I think it was a few months.

I hope I'm mistaken, but I'm pretty sure I remember that. :(

He's a scam. He did a small job for me and did a good job, but when I paid him to do a big job I never heard from him again. I did a post here and many others were scammed by him as well. This was about 2-3 months ago. Now he's back as his games again.

You should never pay 100% in advanced

I got ripped off for the first time a couple weeks ago by that D_Nell motherfucker.

he owes me galleries.

I've notified PayPal (hope I can get my money back) and PhatServers about this.

Probably won't do much but at least he will lose his server and business account at PayPal

Oh you think they are going to close his paypal account after one complaint? :glugglug You have way too much faith in Paypal, these guys don't know what they are doing most of the time

I asked him if I spoke to David Gledhill, he said yes... I started talking about galleries and all of the sudden he doesn't know what I'm talking about
i told him that the domainname and paypal account are on his name he says you must have the wrong guy

Yes that's one of your problems. Trust and money don't mix.

Your other problem is paying 100% up front. Totally ridiculous
unless you're dealing with a long time associate.

...and btw, his domain is paid till 2006 so he has just stopped surfing
temporarily. Wait till he is back up and image source him.

oh well I've learned my lesson, he will get what he deserves.

As xclusive said 50% is the biz norm.
