GRAPHICS CONTEST! $50 to the winner!

Hi all -

Our logo needs some tweaking and no one has been able to get it "right" yet... so, I want to tap your talent and imagination!

The current version has a drop shadow that makes it very difficult to place in designs, especially on a non-white background (as you can see in the sig). I need something with a 3D feel, but that is more useful for design and print (and embroidery). HELP!!

The concept behind the logo is simple... One circle represents Affiliates and the other circle represents Sponsors/Site Owners... where they come together and intersect creates Real Big Cash for both sides.

Feel free to get creative :thumbsup

Looking forward to the entries!!

Here's what we've got so far ...

Cheers!

Fresh or revamped... doesn't really matter. I like the current concept, but it's almost useless as-is.

Here's the psd

Your first problem is that it IS a psd. And not only that it's flattened so you can't modify specific portions. You also can't enlarge for print mediums as you can with a vector-based format (Adobe Illustrator or Fireworks). The one below is all vector-based and can be sized infinately without losing quality.

with the dollar sign in the concentric circles..

OK - now we're getting somewhere!

GeXus and Dynamix ... thanks!

Dynamix, I like the glow on the dollar sign... I'm a chick so I like shiny things :winkwink:

I totally understand what you're saying too and wish I would've known to ask for a vector based file. I'm used to web work as opposed to print/material and wasn't thinking about the need to enlarge to those proportions.

beemk 11-16-2004 02:44 PM

$50? good luck finding a good designer to do that for $50. let alone make you one for a chance to win $50.

The price is fair since the initial concept and layout are done. Also, entrants don't need to submit the finished glossy product to be selected... it's not like they have to spend a lot of time on it and have it perfect. That final tweaking can easily be done once the right "next step" design has been found.

$50 is fair for what this project entails.
