Response requested from CCBill and Epoch

Hello,

I would like both companies to advise us of their policy regarding transfer of ownership on a processing account. Under the presumption that the original owner went through the registration process, paid the fees and had the sites reviewed and approved what is your process for setting up the new owner beyond having that person submit transfer of ownership paperwork and a Visa application?

1) I understand they would still need Visa approval. However, would they be expected to pay the $750 again, a $350 renewal or nothing at all?

2) Once all of the appropriate paperwork is filled out and submitted, what is a conservative estimate on how long the entire process might take?

Looking forward to your responses. Thank you!

Cheers,

Brad

is there any reason that you dont ask each of the companies individually over the phone or email?

From people I have spoken to any where from 3 to 10 days depends on how busy everyone is. Which is pretty quick to me.

They have already been asked and both companies apparently have different interpretations on Visa's rules. What I would like to see is them state publicly what their policy is for everyone's benefit.

Anyone who needs answers to policy questions please contact CCBILL directly. You can email in at [email protected] or call us toll free 800-510-2859.

Neon98,

I respect your request but am trying to reconcile a difference between the two processors on Visa rules which should be the same for both companies. I feel this is a rather straightforward question.

Again, I ask that you reconsider and post your policy.

Dear Brad

It does not sound straight forward at all. You are asking for specific policies to a very general question. Are these to U.S. owners, companies, LLC's, EU companies, individuals, or some combination of either. If there are any webmasters who are looking to purchase a site from another individual and would like to ask CCBill how we will handle it please contact us at [email protected] or 800-510-2853. Thank you.

There is a single owner of each entity and both are US residents. The selling company is a corporation and the aquiring entity is an LLC. Is there anything else that would make a difference in the answer?

CCBill, thank you for the effort you've made to answer my questions fully, privately. I understand better now exactly why the answer to my original question wasn't so clear cut after all.

Everyone else... what you will find is that both companies will handle this situation differently. Based on our experience, we were happiest with CCBill's quick, clear response and how their policy differed from Epoch's.

Cheers,

Brad
