Bush cabinet resignation - Did that happen in 1996 under Clinton.

Just curios, since I wasnīt online in 1996 and therefore didnīt follow US news as much back than, I canīt remember if a lot of Clintons cabinet resigned.

Is it normal to have that many cabinet members resign when a president is reelected or is it just because is a moron (which he is) ?

Donīt want to stir up dust, just curious...

from Clinton speech.

"During our first term in office, the vice president and I were blessed to work with a remarkable national security team -- Secretary of State Warren Christopher, Secretary of Defense Bill Perry, National Security Adviser Anthony Lake, UN Ambassador Madeleine Albright, Director of Central Intelligence John Deutch"

"Today I am pleased to announce the new national security team I have selected to help us meeting that responsibility -- Secretary of State-designate Madeleine Albright; Secretary of Defense-designate William Cohen; Secretary of -- Director of Central Intelligence- designate Anthony Lake; and National Security Adviser Samuel Berger. it's to be expected and it's disgusting - everybody knows why it happens, it's time to cash in and back up the Brinks truck while you still have your former boss in the White House. that's the way it is - both parties.
