Solo girl site - no. of joins

Hello all!

Just looking for some statistics on the number of joins one can expect for a NEW solo girl site, some promotion through an affiliate program as well it's own feeder sites. And not part of any large program. The girl is a cute 21 year old that could possibly be promoted as a teen.

I understand that this is a very broad question, but I am looking for a range as to what to expect.

50 joins a month? a week? a day?

How many paying members could I expect at the end of a year? 1000? more?

What is the worst it can do?

Thanks!

Not a smart question man.

There is a sites with 4000 joins a mounth, and there is a sites with 30 joins a mounth.

Its all depends on the girl, and trafick that you will got.

worst it can do? Thousands of $$$$ spent on design, marketing, traffic, processing, etc... no sales whatsoever. It's a business like anything else, it will live or die based on the strength of your product, salesmanship, and marketing, and most importantly the saturation of your market and your ability to distinguish yourself from the others in some way, shape, or form.

single girl site..theres an original idea!

1000000000 joins is average in this biz
do it, definately worth it

Don't start a paysite unless you have a nice load of traffic to send to it yourself, you don't want to rely just on affilates

If you need to ask questions like that I would already be worried :2 cents:

When I started Sahara's site below I had 2 sign up's within the first 30 mins of the site being live. Sales have continued steadily since then and re-bills since the launch on 13th Sep have been around 85%, so I think I have a winner :)

But... I'd had a beta of the tour up for a month or so, a Yahoo group and did a lot of other promotion before the launch. I have 65 affiliates and I just looked at their sales... This is an Anglo Indian models solo site and most of the sales are from UK affiliates :) This is because she's on UK adult satellire tv 3-5 nights a week and so surfers in the UK get to see her for real which helps...

At the end of this year/begining of next year she has 2 hardcore dvd's being released in the UK, which hopefully will be out in the States around next April, so her popularity will spread even more.

It's down to who the model is and how you market her..

Good Luck:thumbsup

I understand that setting up a paysite is fraught with many difficulties.

But, I have no intention of spending thousands on a design and layout. I have seen some pretty simple designs that seem to work really well. As they say "Keep it simpe stupid" (KISS).

And I have the content already. I have the model and I will not have to pay her, she will share in the site's profits.

Finally, this is not my or her only source of income, so we have the luxury of experimenting and getting it right as we work our way through it.

I know solo girl sites are not a new concept and there are many out there. But, isn't that because they sell?

It's not that they sell - it's that (if done right) they retain :thumbsup

The most important thing is the model - not how she looks or how old she is, but her willingness and ability to go the extra mile. Having a successful single girl site takes commitment and lots of hard work (constant content updates, live shows, member emails and interaction, etc. etc. etc.) on the part of the model as the money is in developing personal relationships with members - regardless of how 'imaginary' those relationships are...

OK, let me ask the question another way.

Is it possible for me to be able to take home around $1000 a week after 6 months to a year of running a solo girl site?

That is all I am really looking for.

Or is that too much to expect?

So I am guessing that the reason that other than a couple of people, nobody has tried to answer my question directly is because either:

- you people make too much money doing this and want to keep it a secret.

or

- most of you flip burgers for a living and don't have a clue.

which is it?

if you are not willing to put 12 hours days into it...and you are not willing to pay a professional for a design that converts...then yes, that is WAY too much to expect

GSpotShawn 11-19-2004 08:47 AM

26-32 sales per day, add 3-4 more sales for every hosted gallery you have, add 1 for every banner you have, if you have an exit popup double it, two exits triple it.

Neither, it's because your question is stupid and doesn't have an answer.

Depends if your girl is good looking, depends if she has a personality, depends if you know how to get traffic, depends if you can convert the traffic etc etc etc..

I know people with single girl sites, that take much more than that...and i know people that make it less 1000$ a mounth..and some people close the sites, because it doesnt sell.

So how can you ask a question without even show as your model !

.:St Ides:. 11-19-2004 09:46 AM

Also depends on who is shooting the content, the look of the content is important as well

very possible

if you're not taking home 1k a wee, after SIX MONTHS of having your site up, then there is a SERIOUS problem with one or all of your:

- quality of model
- tour layout
- billing processor
- marketing skills
