Anyways another vote for nirvana, I remember the first day I seen in in San Fran at slayer autographing and told my friend this band will be huge just from the Album Cover little did I know that was under statement.

Yeah Nirvana sticks out for me too.. This one does also for some reason. I get a weird feeling from it.

Don't know how Celtic Frost got to use Giger artwork as their album cover, but it's a pretty cool pic when you see it in a larger size. This is the best pic I could find of it.

Brain Salad Surgery from ELP in 1973. There are two flaps that open and the inside is bizzare too. If you stare for long enough at the women's eye sockets when the inside cover is opened, her eyes appear and stare back at you. Freaky.

Amazingly, no camera tricks were used to create this picture - they actually dragged several hundred beds onto a beach for this picture.

Iron Maiden and Megadeth has some of the best album covers that I've seen...

Back in Black. It made a powerful statement. Bon was dead, the band was all but buried, they didn't feel the need to "color" the music with an image. The music spoke for itself.
