That wasnt real!? Oh fuck!

Doctor Dre 11-15-2004 01:43 AM

Paypal warned people many times about scams like that . If they don't read their paypal emails, they probably won't read the one sent by thoses guy neither

Dirty F 11-15-2004 02:46 AM

Still, if they use the usual email lists that can be bought, 1000's of people will receive this mail. Im pretty sure when it comes to that many people there are always some people who think its real. And 1 account can have 1000's in funds. These guys are simply thiefs and should go to jail for this. Its nothing different than stealing a wallet from an old lady on the street.

nofx 11-15-2004 02:49 AM

i'm sure a bunch of people fall for it.

has nothing to do with stupidity , think about it , some people actually have lives and are busy , when for whatever reason you are in a hurry chances are you arent as carefull as you would usually be and thus look over the fact it is fake .....

i'm sorry but when it comes to anything of mine involving MONEY, I tend to pay extra careful attention to it. no matter how much of a hurry I am in.

and if you have been on the internet long enough, you have seen the scams come and go in waves.

like I said, stupid people use the internet.

Hehe I did enter some fake info as well, and reported the site.

Looks like it's offline already :-)

Fishing for accounts should be punishable by death. (I'm not joking)

All this fishing/spyware/trojan/virus/botnet bullshit is going to cause some major chaos someday.

Thurbs 11-15-2004 07:53 AM
