I am sure we are going to have a few of these in the next few months(hopefully not years!) But 1 of them is more than we want!

But those that become this I am sure are proud for it! GOD BLESS ALL OF THE TROUPS INVOLVED IN THE UP-COMING MILITARY ACTION! Let me be the first to say we love you and owe our freedom and possibly lives to you...!!!! We appreciate your sacrifice! If I wasn't too old and broken down to enlist now I would!!

While some of the assholes here don't appreciate the freedom most of the world has most of us DO! This message is probably early in response, but since I am not able to post real regularly, I want to let you know even when nothing is happening we do think about you!

Amen Balljoints, my hubby talked very briefly to a friend of his tonight on MSN Messenger that has been in the Navy since out of high school. He is our age and is still in, a decorated officer, and he is terrified and he told him he just wanted us all to know that they are working and on call 24/7 and just wanted us all to know that they are doing this for us. They are all scared, they fear for their own lives and their own families. They are heading into things that are life threatening to them and they are doing this all for our Country.

You know, until this all happened, I don't really know that outside of my personal friends and family in the services, that I can say I put too much thought into what the US stands for and what our Armed Forces do for us. I just always assumed everything was going to be ok, and that we were safe from all the horror the rest of these countries live thru daily. But you bet your ass I think about it now. I never had a desire for any American Flags...... but I do now...... I think it comes with maturity and parenthood...... and of course finding out one day when I woke up a few days ago that the freedom I always took for granted had just been challenged.

I guess when it hit me full bore in the face that I DO belive in our Armed Forces is when my kids started asking me if we were all going to die. It was then that I honestly thought about it and knew that as long as we had a strong military team, we would all be safe again. So today there isn't a day that goes by that I don't say a small prayer for these men and women, and wish them and their own families the very best of all we have in us to wish.


You are not premature as I am sure some from our family here at gfy will go to be in this War...... so letting them know now that we love them and we are thinking of them and their loved ones, is sooo not premature. Like only telling a child you love him when he does something good. They need to always know we love them and that yes we do care and we do think of them.

It is about a Soldier from the Vietnam War that never came back. And how the Guy that bought his prized posession found his message to the world, and felt his presence in the car when he wrecked it..

Very possible, but also probably when someone thinks about those that came before us and insured our freedom we have today!
