Is This a Hoax?
This was put out by Newsmax, and I hope it's inaccurate. If not, I would like to appologize on behalf of my fellow citizens who have created this horror.

Why are you appologizing? Your fellow citizens expressed their right as an american to vote for a president of their choice in the greatest country of the world. And you appologize for it?
You can leave the country at any time idiot. |
Your mother should apologize to the world for your birth.

Those are NOT accurate...they've been sent around by the Limbots over on Newsmaxim forums. One fellow copped to making them.
51% voted for Bush 49% million voted for Kerry The real numbers are bad enough. |

I didn't say that - nor has anyone where I live said that. The Diebold machines are our new masters. We're all just property on the plantation now. |

The people who see those pictures and think that they mean 90% of America voted for Bush are the same idiots who send televangelists money. Break it down by population and its half and half. Doesn't mean shit as far as I'm concerned -- who the hell cares about some subsidized farmer's political views.

yep no matter what map you use Kerry LOST LOST LOST
I wish to congratulate the 51 percent of american's on your choice. Americans 2 American haters 0. Lets go 3 and 0 in 2008 |
Hmm... Interesting. At least the county I live in is blue. I wonder if this map could also be used as a guide to which states/counties are most likely to try out their obscenity laws.

I always new that one day I would be from a red country.

There's a couple things you need to realize about those graphs:
1) The red simply means Bush won in those areas. It doesn't mean that the vast majority of the area supports him .. just enough for him to have had the win. 2) The blue areas, and this is shown on the 3d graphs, represent the most densely populated areas in the US. So if you consider the populations of the areas .. any small piece of blue area makes up for a huge area of red. Ultimately Bush won .. but it was still close. I don't know exactly how accurate those graphs are .. but assuming they are accurate, it's solely first instinct to go "wow the majority of the US supports Bush" .. no it doesn't .. the graph just represents regions .. not populations. |

btw... "greatest country of the world"? I'd like to see where you pulled up that statistic from. That arrogant attitude they brainwash children with in american schools bothers me. |

I did my part. See the one little blue dot in northeast Kansas? That's Douglas County (where I live). I tried.

Red in the minds of many denotes Soviet Russia....
I can see many similiarities... Tho as was common in Soviet Russia, - the people knew no better either. |

Just to be clear -- he's is the blue one or the red one? if it's the red one - then it actually is horrifying picture/graph to see.
