The best freeware adware removal software
 

What do you recommend folks? Just want to scan once and get some of this shit off my pc. Already tried removing a bunch from the STARTUP tab in msconfig, but I'm sure there's something else lurking around

you don't by chance have links to either of these do you?

Google for

"Download Spybot Seach and Destroy"

and

"Download adaware"

... use both of these programs, then let them 'run on startup' if they need to (you'll know after they are done with their first clean) ...

After that, if there's still problems, disable system restore, boot into safe mode, and repeat the process.
