On the desktop you just left click and add new shortcut at the first prompt enter the full URL and save. If you want a folder make the folder and put the short cuts there the same way then make a new shortcut on the desktop and point to the folder.

Ok so when I create a shortcut I put in my server IP and it doesn't work :( It won't accept IPs into the form.

right click on the folder, new -> shortcut
type:
mstsc /v:server

extra parameters you can pass:
/f -- run in full screen
/w:width
/h:height
/console -- connect to the console session on win2k3 server

hope this helps

Start > All programs > Accessories > Communications > Remote Desktop Connection

Click 'options' and fill in the IP address (and pass if you want) and choose your settings. Then click "save as" and save the whatever.RDP file somewhere. Then you can double click that file to connect at any time.
