I hate "sick"
 

Come on... You're trying to tell me something is terrific by bringing images of vomiting and diarrhea, and memories of miserable days?

A brand-new car is not sick. Am I the only one who's annoyed by this?

Or am I just getting intolerant as I approach middle age?

It doesn't hurt me when I see those kind of pics...

I'm talking about people using the word "sick" to mean "fantastic" "nice" "exceptional"

The way we used "bad" back in the eighties...

Maybe every generation feels that they have to bring something new to the table. Something to distinguish themselves from the "old" generations. Perferrably something that will ANNOY the "old" generations.

At least that's the way it seems as I get older. :winkwink:

That's what I tell my wife when she bitches about girls wearing down-low hiphuggers that show off their thongs... (personally I like the trend ;) )

Pretty soon we should reach the generation of everybody walking around naked... Then the generation after that will have to do something drastic like clothe themselves from head to toe, and women can't even show their ankles again. Then we'll start all over. :Graucho

I prefer the word "sweet" myself.

this is the first time I've heard the term "sick" meaning something good..

and yeah.. I don't like it.. so that must mean it's a winner.. dang kids are always trying to do things to annoy us older people.. lol
