Ruiz (41-5-1) won most of the late rounds to pull out a hard fought win over Golota (38-5-1), who was fighting for a title for the second straight time.

I had Golota ahead 114-111. All Ruiz does is hold and clinch. I have no idea what fight the judges were watching. After seeing an old, pathetic Holyfield getting his clock cleaned for ten rounds, I didn't think the evening could get any uglier... and yet it did.

Golota is a good fighter but always chokes when it comes to title bouts.

His chance for greatness just pass him by....


I can't see promoters giving him another chance to fight.
