Was it beneficial or is it better to make preferred site?

I'm curious about this as well...

You're better off with AC Gold sites. They send shit for traffic off their link list, they don't retain all that great, and really there seems to be little point in making them.

If your web design and content can hack it, go AC Gold.

I've actually done quite well with them -- especially for sites that I made when you only had to have 100 pics.

You can't expect much from the CA links list traffic. Maybe one sign-up to a platinum site.

Regarding retention -- maybe I've just been lucky, but I calculate that most people who sign up for one of my sites stay for 6-8 months (and some for years).

I've never used AC gold, so I can't comment and have no basis for comparison.

Personally I dont see much benefit to making Platinum Sites. The members dont retain well, and I get just as many upsells from preffered sites.

If you want to make a premium Style of AVS site, CA is low on my list.
