I'm tired of listening to the same MP3's over n' over, New stuff?

I'm not interested in anything rap or TECHNO. which eliminates a lot here, i know.

Just to give you an idea of some of the bands I like:

alice in chains
cold
cranberries
oldschool metallica
pink floyd
raul diblasio (mexican guitarist i believe :)
some RHCP
smashing pumpkins
STP
some system of a down
some U2
sevendust

any other recommendations that are along those lines and maybe not so mainstream?

Well you said oldschool metallica..

Definately find some Iced Earth. Venom is older but good too. Browse some metal sites, thats how I find all the good bands.

Not sure about the other stuff, do you like black/death metal -- perhaps Naglfar, Nile, Soilwork, Children of Bodom
