it's a pretty basic laptop, standard cd-rom, floppy drive, 15 inch moniter. It's an Acer.

With the quality of laptops today and prices down near $800-1000 I would say maybe $350-450 for that.

SmutGiant 11-13-2004 01:17 AM

Thing is I saw a P3 800 mhz refurbished for $800 CDN, so I figure this should be worth at least that much.

Vitasoy 11-13-2004 01:18 AM

How long have you used it for?

I've used it maybe twice, owned it for about a month and a half. It was previously owned though :)

"Refurbished" laptops that stores sell are always overpriced.

Idiots sell used laptops in the "buy and sell" and such for stupid prices. I doubt they get what they ask.

jewcash 11-13-2004 03:24 AM

there is nothing wrong with the top of the line emachine..i got one for my daughter and it is perfect

Tipsy 11-13-2004 03:52 AM

Best way would be simply to check out the closing bids on e-bay for machines with similar specs. People often pay WAY too much on ebay for laptops so whatever they're going for there will be close to the top limit.

Dalai lama 11-13-2004 03:54 AM
