Is anyone else here into origami?
I picked up a new batch of supplies and two new books at Borders, tonight. I've been interested in origami since I was a little kid but it really seems to be dying out. It's getting rarer and rarer for me to find new books and articles on the art.
My favorite thing to make: the sliding pinwheel/shuriken. http://friends.porncherry.com/images...pinwheel-1.jpg http://friends.porncherry.com/images...pinwheel-2.jpg http://friends.porncherry.com/images...pinwheel-3.jpg A couple of balloon boxes, deflated then inflated: http://friends.porncherry.com/images...balloons-1.jpg http://friends.porncherry.com/images...balloons-2.jpg A couple of birds (I just learned tonight how to make the blue one): http://friends.porncherry.com/images...gami/birds.jpg Origami is a great pasttime. With the all the people on GFY, I must not be the only person interested in paper folding. If you're into origami, share a few pieces and recommend websites and books. I'm always looking to learn more. SpaceAce |

but seriously, i remember in elementary school me and a friend use to make these paper puppets, just drew eyes on it and looked kinda like a bird;
then we could make confetti sorta, just ripping up bits of paper and filling its mouth with them. someone would be like "aww thats cute", then we would make it throw up on them. it was fun :) |
