If it is for the bank processing, you are better off getting the car's VIN number, taking it to your own bank and getting the loan there... Better rates and faster service.

Is it Visone Corvette? If so, look it over with a fine tooth comb....they're high pressure volume salesmen.

Maybe they need to certify/safety the vehicle, get your licensing/plates and do some touch up/detailing.

hm...I don't understand the delay if you are paying cash.
In Florida, you don't need a tag transfer until 30 days from purchase date. That is what they have those cardboard temp tags for, and for insurance: you are automatically covered for 15 days by your own insurance when you buy a new car.

May be they need to transport the car from somewhere or need to get the current owner to sign the tittle.
I'd be careful in any case.
