$1000 for a computer case just a case!
This case has no fans to cool the cpu and other parts. It uses heat tubes to transfer heat to big heatsinks. I personally don't see how heatsinks alone can cool off a cpu. The heat tubes are still touching the cpu and heat dosen't move in one direction it floats all over the conductive material. People are buying so i guess it may work.
Here's the auction ebay ebay |
But it's a Zalman TNN-500A computer case!!!!! OMG!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

OMG!!!

Looks pretty badass.
|
And here I thought my buddy was crazy for paying $200 for a case. Sheesh.
|
sweet looking case, would never pay that much though for it.
|
I might have a problem signing a waiver that indemnifies the maker of the case from being sued by me or my "heirs" in the case of paralysis, bodily injury, fractures or even wrongful death resulting from their case:
http://www.quietpcusa.com/tnn_waiver.pdf evidently it's a requirement to order one from their website, is it made of C4? |

Thats a pretty intense case .
|
For such a beast.. i'd think they'd put a more powerful PSU in there... 300w will barely cover the pipes, cpu, hd... ugh.
|
Sexy ass case, for the true uber computer geeks. :D

nicest cases would probably have to be made by lian-li in particular, the pc 7x series, no flashy case nerd crap, but not spot welded thin steel crap that will colapse if you sit on it. They are juuuuuuuust right
