TGP standard and redirection cheater list
 

I don't know how this site will be welcomed here, but i was freaking tired of being cheated on my tgp with galleries that redirected to trojan horse and fucking spyware. At the same time i wanted to put some kinds of general guideline for new or older tgp owners, so i have done a site about it:

What pushed me to do it, was the fact that some poeples told me they didn't want to surf any kinds of porn sites because of the spyware and trojan. So i wanted to do something about it... If you are a tgp owner or a submitter of galleries you can take a look. There is a cheater list i have begun, and if you are a tgp owner you can participate if you wants.

The site is not completely finished yet...

I would have someone that speaks english translate the site for you.

Always a hater out there in the crowd.. I will translate it and then I will gladly add some cheaters to the mix for you. Also I'd like to include cheating TGP owners or just ones with shitty traffic.

Hey, i am french. I write plain long text in english, something like once every 7 years...I don't count the forum posts and chats to be writing. Feel free to send me corrections in the form filling in the cheater list section. Especially you Doc911, i would appreciate it so much... I also said it wasn't finished, didn't I ? Maybe you should learn to read english...That also helps.

V_rocks, i though about adding the trades into the cheater list but i don't feel like there is enouph ways to blacklist them, with the scripts i know of... There is also the matter about fake TGP, and there are a tons of them...I didn't want to go that way because it would mean maintaining a list of TGP, and they do not deserve any publicity. I though that if i do that i would need a script to manage a database, etc...That's why i have decided to do a list about only one cheating problem, which i think is very destructive as a hole (That sounds dirty or something like W Bush would say about terrorist).

I appreciate any helps with the english but do it in a private manner. If you think i missed something you can bring me suggestions, keep in mind that this is not a tutorial, more guidelines of a sort. At least i tried...

Good idea and I am sure lots of people will find the information useful. Cheaters suck but use the cheaters to your advantage. I have close to 5500 domains, over 150 IP addresses (or subnets) and 50 name servers banned on my humble little network. I don't plan to share my list either.

Why? Simple! Believe it or not, other sites are your competition. I don't go out of my way to help the competition if I can avoid it. My sites are fairly cheater-free (or more cheater-free than most). I actually get emails from surfers thanking me for having less redirects than most other sites. It pays to guard yourself against cheaters and it pays to keep your cheater list to yourself.

Free, useful tip from me to you. Don't get used to it. I don't make a habit of giving free tips to the competition. :winkwink:

I don't run TGPS but I do run a site that has a 100 deep toplist that trades with a TON of TGPS. You resource (if you keep up with it) will be valuable.

As I said above... I don't run TGP's so I don't know jack shit. What I can say is that surfers are tired of redirects and warnings. I scan my page daily to make sure there are not any...

Knowing what you said above I agree, yet I disagree. Is one enough? Cheaters have a funny way of running their way into the ground. If a cheater is already fucking themselves with crap sites... they're on their way... right?

Thanks for the kinds words. However i decided not to put any kinds of trading on this site. I don't put any ressources, any links, any banners of any kinds, stricly informative. It wasn't my intention of doing a commercial site from the start in any ways. Maybe it's a mistake and a bit naive on my part, but for now i will finish the site.

I don't totally disagree with you, and i understand your point of view to a certain degree. But i don't reveal all my list either...Only the one that redirect to trojan download.jec, malicious spyware. The rest...CP, 404 pop ups, gallery spammer etc...i can deal with, and i am pretty sure most of TGP owners have the appropriate tools to do so. That's why i have left it out.

But having trojan spreader isn't something we are entirely able to defends against, either has an owner or a surfer. It can affect a surfer so badly to fall on such a page, that he might never return on any kinds of porn sites, free or not. That's why i think it's more than important to put something up, to stop that shit asap from spreading. Because what can happen to a surfer on another TGP could also come to haunt your traffic, and i think with this particular problem, it's the case. Sharing this list, send a message that we won't tolerate any webmasters who try to ruin the means that the surfer as to surf the net (Their PC an windows system) and could stop them from buying our porn. It's not generate profits to do that, it's hacking a pc. It has nothing to do with internet porn, in my book, but everything to do with a way to spread virus and trojan horse.

And apart the cheater list, I felt it was time to write something about TGPs. It's not more or less harmfull than any tutorials out there. Basicely it's is more about the nature of a tgp, the work loads involved and the decisions making it implies. And this from the point of view of a TGP owner, and the point of view of a submitter, since i am both.

Beleive me, my goal isn't to put everyone in a success mode :) . I don't think i can do that...out of my reach.

find trades is a good place to start, but you still have to contend with trojan loader assholes. Everytime I go on the hunt for a new trade, I'm glad I have a good firewall and updated virus software!

Yes in a sens...but only with some cheaters and a special way of cheating. When trojan/spyware tactics disappear, so will the list...The findtrade list also covers TGP with pop ups,the cjoverkill, and much more. I focus only on one problem. If it's stop completely it has no reason to be existing (Sooner than later).

As a matter of fact - I have to review TGPs for DMOZ and let me tell you that for 10-30 minutes of reviewing, I have about 1-2 hours of cleaning computers afterwards - so this will be very helpful if cheating TGPs are listed somewhere. When I go to review them, I'll go double-protected :) or save them for the last ones of the day.

The more time I waste cleaning my computer, the less time I can dedicate to reviewing/accepting/declining or letting you know there's something not right with the site.

If you a tip about that, i receive the same lame ass that publish this type of cheating tgp, and he uses subdomains. You must know what a subdomain is, but just in case:

//www.domain.com is a domain

//user.domain.com
//gandalf.domain.com are subdomains

So i do not accept subdomains for any of my trades anymore. I suggest you do the same at Dmoz. For me it solved the problem with trading with TGPs, i am not sure this will help you a lot...i suspect they are more wise at the directory.
