Sold Average Domain for 5K
 

A friend of mine sold a very average domain for $5K

he was fucking happy!

Two days later he saw the new site up and running and noticed that Microsoft bought his domain for a new product


he is not that happy anymore :1orglaugh :1orglaugh

I'd feel rather honoured if MS bought a domain from me, but not that cheap haha

i would def sell that for 5k he shouldnt be too upset he still got 5k

maybe someday a spanish company is coming around and buys "megusto.com" which he still runs (maybe he wont sell it for that price anymore :) )

Im confused. I just had to check with a POS domain like that.

the domian when i type it in doesnt even go to a website, unless its just me.

It didn't load very fast, but it did eventually load for me. It appears to be a new joint venture from Microsoft and Intel, just as mcmc said. Looks very interesting.

It appears Trout & Zimmer is a domain consulting business. They were probably hired to secure the domain for Billy boy. :thumbsup
