Who Needs A Steady-Cam?
Well - it's not a SteadyCam....it's a SteadyTracker. I bought this about 6 months ago and have only used it twice maybe - doesn't have a scratch on it. Also, I put a bogen 'quick-release' on it so that I can take the camera off quickly... and then put it back on without having to take the time to rebalance the camera (which you would have to do without the quick release). The quick release plate will also fit your Bogen 501 fluid head...so you can go from your tripod to your SteadyTracker and back in the blink of an eye.
Here's a pic that I got off the internet - my unit looks just like this: http://www.deancapture.com/images/steadytracker.jpg Click here if you wanna see a small video using the SteadyTracker. I didn't film this but found it on the net. VIDEO LINK Since the unit is practically new, I'll take $200 for it which will include the Bogen Quick-release system and UPS shipping to your front door (US only). Payment must be paid via Paypal. I was about to list this on eBay but thought I'd give you knuckleheads a crack at it first :thumbsup I'm getting rid of it cause I haven't used it enough to warrant keeping it. I think it would be perfect for someone who films a lot of reality shit - and I'm not doing much of that. |
i built my own with a nice counter balance... works amazing and the cost was less that 20 dollars in parts :)
but good deal for anyone looking though |
