Help! Which media player plays SVCD formats?

I know there is an opensource media player that has all the codecs included, something like VPL or VPR or such... cant remember.

What do you use to view SVCD files? My WMP won't do it.

mine plays svcd just fine, but I have to actually go into the cd and find the DAT file and open it through WMP

that will work for divx, xvid ect. but if its a real SVCD it will need the mpeg2 codec

heres a free one:

PowerDVD player is the best for svcd.

i would recommend to install the codecs seperately.installing all the codecs from nimo often causes conflicts.
especially the direct show filter.

Stinky's MPEG-2 codec causes audio/video sync troubles with the file i want to play. Fuck it, I'll watch the Simpsons Treehouse of Horror in Xvid format then. :thumbsup

You don't need to install any codecs. Mark my word it will play in PowerDVD player.
