A man is dead and you people make jokes.
I am talking about Yaser Arafat who won the Nobel Peace prize in 1994. Israel and the Jewish lobby I guess did a great job making Arafat a terrorist. Mossad has more innocent civilian blood on its hands than all the terrorist organizations in Palestine combined.

They're all bigots and zealots in my opinion. :2 cents:
|
He siphoned $1.3 Billion from his people.

which world leader doesn't? Ariel Sharon was caught taking bribes. |
bribes aren't as bad as stealing the money for something that you are supposed to believe in.
that's just plain greed. |

No doubt he ordered a lot of terrorist attacks on Israel. So you have to acknowldege that as well. I got a kick out of him. Who else could keep one little terrority of only 3 million people in the news virtually every single day for so long. |

He was also a big fan of Barbra Streisand and Judy Garland.

The families of 100,000+ dead Iraqi civilians would probably joke and dance in the streets if something happened to GW. It's all a matter of your perspective.

And he lived the lavious life in palaces and travelled in the top hotels of rge world capitals... Do you know were than money came from ??? ISRAEL !!!! Now research about before repeating your propaganda. Arafat was a controversial politician, and maybe his death will bring a chance of peace. Now if Sharon had died to, it would be much better... |
I, for one, am glad he's dead.
The Palistinians have had a horrible life since he took control. Today, they're at a "fork in the road." They can either continue they way they've been going and continue to enjoy a life of hell, OR, they can begin to come together as a people and a nation, consider peace with their neighbors and enjoy a full and productive life. It's their choice and it'll be interesting to see what they choose. Any bets? |

ahhhhh, the myth of 100,000 iraqi "WMD" arrives |

Arafat, Sharon, all the same. They all have blood on their hands.
DO I know a solution for this problem? No, because it's hard to make a good deal with all parties, when they simply HATE eachother till the bones. And with people hating you can't make solutions. Andre |

For those of you who don't know who Yasser Arafat's uncle was:
http://medienkritik.typepad.com/blog...rs_birthd.html What a marvelous family! More on Arafat's uncle and Palestinian sentiments towards the Jews: According to documentation from the Nuremberg and Eichmann trials, the Nazi Germany SS helped finance al-Husseini's efforts in the 1936-39 revolt in Palestine. Adolf Eichmann actually visited Palestine and met with al-Husseini at that time and subsequently maintained regular contact with him later in Berlin. In 1940, al-Husseini requested the Axis powers to acknowledge the Arab right: "... to settle the question of Jewish elements in Palestine and other Arab countries in accordance with the national and racial interests of the Arabs and along the lines similar to those used to solve the Jewish question in Germany and Italy." While in Baghdad, Syria al-Husseini aided the pro-Nazi revolt of 1941. He then spent the rest of World War II as Hitler's special guest in Berlin, advocating the extermination of Jews in radio broadcasts back to the Middle East and recruiting Balkan Muslims for infamous SS "mountain divisions" that tried to wipe out Jewish communities throughout the region. At the Nuremberg Trials, Eichmann's deputy Dieter Wisliceny (subsequently executed as a war criminal) testified: "The Mufti was one of the initiators of the systematic extermination of European Jewry and had been a collaborator and adviser of Eichmann and Himmler in the execution of this plan. ... He was one of Eichmann's best friends and had constantly incited him to accelerate the extermination measures. I heard him say, accompanied by Eichmann, he had visited incognito the gas chamber of Auschwitz." |
American people really hate him
America marketed him as a terrorist mainly too |

I know that my uncle never had tea at Auschwitz. He was too busy storming the beach in Normandy & freezing his ass off in Belgium later that winter. Perhaps my view is as jaded as Arafat, but wouldn't that prove the point! |
Why some people still hate him ?
|
I'm sure his close friends are quite upset.....

Did Israeli intelligence also drop the figure the PLO spent on that as well? Or are you supposed to assume that no such operations occurred and in turn assume that any "missing money" MUST have went straight into Arafats pockets? Propaganda is to a democracy what the bludgeon is to a totalitarian state. - Noam Chomsky ;) |
ok bad joke:
how many palestinians can u fit in a coffin? 10 000, ashes dont take up much space. |

Well, we could start with the fact that he was planning and executing the Hijacking of planes in the 60s and 70s, until he was kicked out of Lybia, then went on to plan, and finance thousands of murders specifically targeting women and children. He took billions in aid money (millions of it from the US), that was meant to give his people a better life and instead stuck it in banks (mostly in France), while his people STILL don't have proper sewage and electricity. That in 2000, when he had a chance to have a palistinian state, he turned it down so that he could stay in power. The list goes on, and on. Even though some could say that there were people on the other side that were no better, that STILL doesn't make him a good guy.:2 cents: |

Good post, so true. :( I wonder what will happen now. |
