I completely forgot about DHD Media as a billing processor. Anyone care to share their experiences?

a fair number of sites use DHD - they would have no interest in processing for the riff raff that hangs here or any scammy spammy BozoBucks type medium to big sized affiliate programs.

DHD is Danni's Hard Drive - process for exclusive sites like Suze Randall i think, Stephen Hicks DDGirls, Danni's Hard Drive, NetVideoGirls - those kinds of sites.

DHD helps you get your own merchant account. So if you have a joke/scammy site then you'll fuck yourself if you ever get your merchant account pulled. It's tough to get it back once it's been pulled by Visa. The setup costs at DHD are pretty high, but everyone I've talked to is happy with the service. The transaction costs are a little high too, you think you'd be able to do a little better for having your own merchant account. Be prepared to shell $2500 for a merchant account, $500 per year high risk merchant fee, and like $350/hr to set up your subscription interface and other bullshit.

Oh, one more thing wifeysworld uses them. In case you find that interesting.

Mutt is right though they are extremely selective and conservative and run things absolutely legit.

PhounTho is also right; they don't come cheap, but of course those that are not fly by nights never do.

We have never used them but thoroughly looked at their system as a secondary to Netbilling before going with CCbill as our secondary. Their system is not near as powerful as either Netbilling or CCbill from what we saw.

there are TONS of sites using them

if I am not mistaken, they have been around for years...longer than some of the processors out now....but before they were sort of an invite only processor..you had to know someone to get to use them...i had no idea they even opened their doors to the public

i tried to get them for tabithastoybox.com like 4-5 years ago, but they declined me at that time because the site was not well known yet
