Survivor and Racism
 

Ok guys first a bit of good news. I just heard that they pulled a security guard who was on the 82nd floor and fell the entire way with the building. And yes he survived.

Now on to the Racist slinging that I am seeing today. First of all lets look at the facts. I guarantee, GUARANTEE, that every imaginable race of people worked in those buildings. America being the melting pot that it is. This is not a muslim thing, this is not a Arab thing. This is a demented mutha fucka thing. Someone, I am not pointing fingers, and even though I believe we are on the right track with who we are looking at as the prime suspect, I say someone, decided to make an attack on all Americans! White, Black, Yellow, Brown, Red White and Blue, and the rest of us. Yes I say US. This board is a place for us all to look at each other and show that we can all show support in this horrible time!

That said, for anyone that crosses the path of someone that, even playingly, states they were involved in this incident, or once we find out who did this I say to you do one thing.......

I'm gonna have to disagree. This is not the time for rational thinking and tolerance. That can come later. For now, we need wide-eyed rednecks rampaging through the streets. Its the only smart thing to do.

I have an interesting thought for everybody: will the U.S. put all Arabian-Americans in concentration camps like they did the Japanese-American after Pearl Harbor? If we do that then we should have put all Americans in concentration camps after the bombing in Oklahoma City.

Well, in order to have racism, you need to have different races. However, the last time I looked Arabs were the same race as white people. Not all ethicities are races.

I'll have disagree to with you on that, Unseen. Race is the right term to use here.

3)Humans considered as a group.

Well, terrorists are a group aren't they? So if we go after terrorists then we're still racists.

Oops.. forgot to mention that I don't think you are wrong in your thinking of the human species as a race. Afterall #3 does point in that direction, however, their use is also correct.

It was just a thought. I just hope the affter effects don't become like what happened after Pearl Harbor was attacked. We need to rise above hating our neighbors no matter where they were born or their heritage.
