Any Talking Heads fans?

Since pretty much every new band in the UK is ripping off their sound at the moment I decided to take out my old songs and listen. Really good stuff. Anyone else a fan?

I had the first Talking Heads album on vinyl, then cassette and finally CD:) I always loved the song "Psycho Killer". As far as their later stuff I liked "And She Was" and "Wild Wild Life (mainly because of the video).

This thread inspired me to dig around my old music. Am listening to a :thumbsup:thumbsup remix of "And She Was" :)

Psycho Killer is my fave or theirs. There isn't another song like it.

I figured that before you posted it, long lost twin:1orglaugh

That song was a huge club favorite at a club I hung out in Norfolk VA in '80 (navy days).

Somewhere around here I've got "Psycho Chicken", the takeoff by The Fools.

They sorta lost me with their later stuff, but Remain in Light and Fear of Music are two of my favorite albums.

One thing those guys sure knew how to do was choose good help in the studio - Adrian Belew's guitar work on Remain in Light is some of the most original, unique playing I've ever heard (and Robert Fripp's work on Fear of Music ain't half bad, either....)
