I swear part one will always be the best game ever.

I cant say that it sucks, but I can say that the fucking xbox controller sucks. I cant play this game worth a fuck with that piece of shit.

I need a mouse and keyboard. I see this game sitting here collecting dust. I played 15 minutes and turned it off.

It's OK. Not worth all of the hype but it's a good game. I think it was really meant for muoltiplayer.

I've already got thru 4 levels.

I've been playing it for the past 2-3 hours. It's pretty cool but not as good as it's been hyped up to be.

Pretty much the same as the old one in my opinion, maybe the multiplayer will be much better than the single player missions?

Shit, we did multiplayer and was pissed that the veiw is smaller and the levels took forever to find anyone.

I should check out the single person part, it's probably good.

I have to agree with chaze. Plus we finished the game in 8 hours, and the ending leaves a lot to be desired. There will definately be a Halo 3.

How do you change the Co-op play screen setting? The previews at the start of the game shows top & bottom screens but I can't remember how to change it - the side by side screen has gotta go. :feels-hot

Yes, ...I have it on good word (from a friend who is at the top of the Microsoft gamming division), that they are planning Halo3 for the next gen Xbox. :thumbsup

Nevermind I figured it out...

Halo 2 is set up for widescreen format so it defaults to side by side screen.

Start XBox without disc change settings to full screen then try it again with the Halo 2 disc - should be top & bottom split screen now.

I didn't play much on live until today. I had to figure out the controls and practice a little. On live it rocks. Definitely worth the money.

I need to go live, it sounds like that's where it's at.

For two people or even 4 it still really sucks.

But for 8 or 16 I bet it's sweat.

Halo 2 is a multi-player game first....then a single player game. Or at least thats how me and my friends look at it.

I agree with ya on that, I can't play it either with the controller, I'm definately a mouse FPS guy :)

So far it's pretty good, multi-player that is. Haven't tried Xbox Live yet. The single player seems really dark, or my tv is set too dark to where it's a pain in the ass.

I can't say it's better then the 1st. But if Xbox live allows them to add new maps,weapons, vehicles then it'll be better then the 1st.

The French version was released about a month ago for people

I got Halo2 yesterday but my boys are the only ones who have played it. They say it's awesome. I'm still working on GTA SA. That game rocks!!!!

did not check if you got a reply, but you can change the view by going in the Xbox Video settings and switch from fullscreen to widescreen or the inverse (something like that). It worked for me.

Took me 10 hours to beat the game on legendary.

I thought it was pretty cool, but they should have had more challenging levels (the first game was more challenging I think).

I love the new guns, soundtrack is a lot better than the last, it's cool that you can play as the convenant. All in all it's better than the first game.
